We are situated in the heart of the beautiful unspoilt hamlet of Wycoller with its famous ruined 16th Century Hall said to be the inspiation for Charlotte Brontë's novel 'Jane Eyre'as Ferndean Manor (the home of Lord Rochester). A perfect day out for all, as the valley has easy walks and links with the Pendle and Brontëway.
TheCraft centre has a traditional Victorian Tearoom with open Victorian Range all food from our menu are all freshly prepared on the premises and boast a wonderful selection of Homemade Cakes and pastries freshly baked by us. We have an art gallery hosting original water and oil paintings by local artists. We also have a collection of woollen goods by Stowes of Sowerby from simple scarves and hats to blankets and jackets all made from 100% British Pure New Wool and woven in traditional methods.
The gift shop has a nice selection of Gifts and souvenirs to suit everyones taste. For collectors we stock nostalgic 'Tinplate Toys' from attractive merry-go-rounds to real steam powered "pop-pop"boats. We also have a selection of hand-made cards, hand-painted glass wear,handpainted pottery and walking sticks made by local craftsmen
